this handmade star card is made slowly, thoughtfully, and entirely by hand in the UK - intended for any occasion.
each card begins its life at The Paper Foundation, crafted using their PaperTex technique. the charcoal base is formed from 100% recycled natural-fibre textile waste, reborn from cotton T-shirts. the tonal greens patchworked pieces are created from 100% cotton textile waste by the wonderfully talented Junele in Dundee.
designed and assembled by new commodity, the card carries the gentle handwriting of modern quilting and patchwork - a meeting of tradition, texture, and contemporary design.
loved and nurtured at every stage of its making, this is a card that continues its story, just as the words written within it do. it can be framed and treasured as a keepsake, or returned to the earth to be composted, enriching the soil once more.
